To ensure our children have a firm grasp of sentence construction, we played the “Sentences Relay Race”!

Our little ones had to each loop a hoop around their waists and jump through the rest of the hoops. Upon reaching the cones, children had to drop their hoops around the cones and pick a word from the word pile.

Next, our children had to return to their respective tables to complete the final section of the relay race where team work is key!

With a word in each of their hands, children had to work together to construct different sentences! ✨✨✨

Learning through games and fun is the best way to acquire any knowledge! We love our little happy and confident learners! ❤️🤩

The children played the “nouns, verbs and adject

The children played the “nouns, verbs and adjectives” BINGO game today!

Our little ones took turns to pick a word from the whiteboard. They had to identify and categorize the word according to “nouns, verbs, or adjectives”.

Finally, our children had to construct a sentence using the word that they had picked! Once done, the children got to peel off the post-it note to reveal the number of stars hidden underneath.

Who managed to bag the most stars today? Well, we didn’t keep count but one thing’s for sure - our children are all the brightest of stars in our eyes!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The fizzy dinosaur egg experiment was so much fun!

Exploring and learning about the properties of sodium bicarbonate (alkaline) and vinegar (acidic), our little ones were especially fascinated by the bubbles that emerged from the chemical reaction!

“Were dinosaur eggs similar? Were there lots of bubbles when baby dinosaurs hatched from eggs?”

We love how endlessly creative our children can be. Their enthusiasm towards learning, exploring, and unraveling is so so precious!

We incorporated music and gross motor skills into our Numeracy lesson today!

Our little ones had to roll milk tins (with hidden numbers inside), uncover the hidden numbers, and drum according to the respective numbers within!🥁

Everyone had so much fun practicing numeral recognition and rational counting! Nobody wanted to leave the indoor gym so we even had to extend the lesson by another 10 minutes for everyone to indulge in a little more Numeracy fun! 😂🤩

Our children learnt all about NOUNS today!

They went on a real adventure during the lesson. Navigating the toughest terrains, our little ones had to walk backwards whilst keeping their feet apart, balance carefully as they made their ways across the balancing beams, and jump from one poly spot to the next before reaching the pool of NOUNS. Once they reached the pool of nouns, our little ones got to pick out a noun and place it in the correct category!

Phew! What an obstacle course! 🤩 This is a lesson where we engaged our children kinesthetically. Needless to say, everyone had so much fun and definitely understood what “nouns” are!

As part of our annual Chinese New Year celebrations, our children busied themselves with a fun dumpling making session this morning!

Our little ones are always so fascinated by how these dumplings look like golden ingots (and thus, signify wealth). They even had a friendly competition with each other to see who could eat the most for lunch! 🤣

We got busy making our very own homemade pineapple tarts during cookery today! It was fun learning about the symbolic meaning behind these delicious snacks and enjoyed tasting the buttery goodness once they came out of the oven!
