Teacher Dara believes that children learn best when they feel secure and confident. Hence, she takes utmost pride in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. Teacher Dara’s interactions with children always stems from positivity and compassion. She firmly believes that no child should get left behind and that we can zoom in into children’s strengths to best groom them. As a result, it is not unusual to find Teacher Dara tailoring lessons to each child’s needs, with differentiated as well as engaging activities to spur on children’s thirst for knowledge.
With the emphasis that each child’s learning has to be organic and authentic, Teacher Dara’s lessons are always filled with hands-on activities to encourage children’s enthusiasm and engagement. She welcomes children to ask questions and love diving in together to find out different answers together; this encourages children to think critically and ultimately, be problem-solvers.
Teacher Dara holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
